Art that is inspirational

If there ever was a great example of art being inspirational as well as beautiful, then the new 20′ tall “Inspiration” sculpture created by James T. Russell in downtown Lansing, Michigan is it. Below are three full size  photographs of this magnificent sculpture were taken yesterday afternoon.

The sculpture will be dedicated tomorrow afternoon (Sunday, May 15th). It is absolutely lovely and an inspiring piece of visual artwork situated along the Grand River and the Lansing River Trail bikeway.  Kudos to anyone and everyone in Greater Lansing who helped make this happen.

A beautiful piece! I like seeing a city put art where any & everyone can enjoy it. The J& C periodically publishes a list of art pieces that are accessible to the public and a map of where to find each piece.
