Heat wave Friday – synonyms for “HOT”

Here’s my list of 33 synonyms we often use to describe extremely hot weather, many of which reference to cooking terms — please feel free to add others that may come to mind. I did not include words for the humidity – that would a whole other list, although some terms could easily apply to both.
