No need to mess with Texas, it’s already messed up

While driving today I saw one of those “Don’t mess with Texas” bumper stickers. I thought, why should we? Texans have already messed themselves up just fine without our help by electing ultra-conservative bozos.

Texas ranks 51st in the nation in educational attainment and 49th in high school graduation rates. Texas also ranks number two in occupational fatalities, murders, and property crimes.

Do these data really qualify as the resume credentials of a candidate for President or are they better suited for someone who should be voted out of office due to incompetence?

Just two years ago, Governor Rick Perry suggested Texas may secede from the Union. Aside from the fact that his statement supported a treasonous and unconstitutional philosophy, which should immediately disqualify him from serving in any elected office, perhaps the nation may have been better off to have just let them leave and fend for themselves.

That’s because the feds won’t do anything about illegals. Every statistic in Texas is made worse because of illegals. Also there are only 50 states. We can’t be 51st in any thing. Do your research and proof read!

I say let Texas out of the union–but make sure to cut off all federal support financial and otherwise. Let’s see how they do on their own. Maybe they’ll take Mississippi with them 😉

PS–I think it’s super creepy/unpatriotic that Texas school children say the Texas pledge/oath thingy before they recite The Pledge of Allegiance. . .
