As one can see, the race for the top spot was extremely close between Montreal and Toronto, with only a difference of 0.36 percent separating them. It is fascinating to note that some suburbs of Montreal, Vancouver, and Toronto having higher rates of usage of mass transit than core cities like Edmonton, Hamilton, London, Windsor, St. Catharines, Saint John, St. John’s, Saskatoon, and Regina.

These are EXCELLENT statistic! Both the Canadian AND US statistics! A reincarnation of the interurban system as publicly owned would reverse the US’ dismal (gas guzzling) statistics!

some exciting and interested info – In the list Woodbuffalo has ranked 12th and by assuming this data is verifiable – Is it possible that we can provide new Municipal 2012 Census data. We (RMWB) have strong hope that we could have higher than 14.8%.
