Each of the following cities straddles/abuts the Equator, as the coordinates for each are less than one degree latitude from the Equator. Only the core city population is provided, so there may be some suburbs that could have been part of this list, as well.

      I only included cities. I will double check to see if any cities there straddle the equator. Thank you.

        I looked up cities in the Republic of Congo. Makoua is the largest one along the Equator, but most recent population data (2007) doesn’t show it to be large enough to make the list unless I expand it.
