    Springfield — two shows: “Guiding Light” and “Father Knows Best”. Also the Simpsons, but that isn’t live TV.

      Thank you – I hesitated including Springfield since there are real Springfields, but I will throw it in.

        There’s real places with other names on the list that don’t have state/province on them. Riverdale, Oakdale, Mayfield, among others. Hell, there’s even a Metropolis in Illinois.

        BTW, Riverdale has two live action TV shows: the Canadian soap opera and a show based on Archie comics.
