The following list identifies those cities around the globe that have at least three (3) of the same letter from the English/Latin alphabet in their name. Those cities shown in bold contain at least two (2) sets of three (3) matching letters in their name. AS is readily evident, the letter “A” far surpasses all other letters of the alphabet in numbers of city names with at least three matching letters. FYI – there were so many examples from the letter “A” that the list below is not all inclusive.

How could you miss Rimini, Italy? Or Oconomowoc WI? It’s a beautiful name; every other letter is an O. Illinois City, Illinois (very small, unincorporated) has every third letter an I, 7 of them if you count the state name. There used to be a place in Washington state named Wawawai. It was along the Snake River and got flooded by one of the dams they built there.
Filling in some of the empty lists. All are fairly small, but some are incorporated towns or cities.

Forgot one: Jo Jo Junction, PA. No longer exists, but I’ve seen it in an old road atlas. Google only produces a handful of hits related to railways, so it may not have been much more than a siding.

Thank you, but I’m going to leave out places that no longer exist, except as a footnote. Still kicking myself over Oconomowoc, but eyes start to glass over as one is scanning maps.

Oh, I didn’t expect you to use that one; just letting you know what’s out there. In my younger days, I used to spend a lot of time scanning maps, looking at all the little town names. That’s where I found most of these contributions (all except the one in Azerbaijan). Among other things, I was looking for names with a high proportion of each letter. I still have my results, but they’re packed away and I couldn’t find them. I produced my additions from memory. Some others which you don’t have above:
Doddridge AR
Keene NH
Meeteese WY
Keokuk IA
Osoyoos BC
Pippa Passes KY
Vaiva Vo AZ (another empty list filled)

Saqqaq (greenland town), which I would expect to be the only one with three “q”.

Hmm actually there is also Qaqortoq for Q, which is much larger (3000+ inhabitants, which is a lot in greenland) and Qeqertaq (small town 117 inhanbitants).
Greenland city names have lots of interesting structures in any case : Qaanaaq for instance, palindrome with 4 a starting and ending with q…. Ittoqqortoormiit (3 “i”, 4 “t”, 4 “o”), Qeqetarsuatsiaat (only a and t repeating 3+ times, but a total of 5 letters that are at least doubled).
