The following list identifies the largest cities in the world that incorporate “City” or “Ciudad” into their names. A population minimum of 150,000 residents in the core city was used as a threshold for inclusion. As can be seen, there is a very close race for the top spot between Ho Chi Minh City, Mexico City, and New York City.
