Below is my list of cities whose name, in English, starts and ends with the same letter of the alphabet. Based on the list below, cities stating and ending with the letter “A” seems to be the most common by a large margin.
As this is an incomplete list, any additions are most welcome. Cheers!

For Z, which someone requested, there’s a locality (way too small to be a city) in Manitoba named Zbaraz. Named after Zbarazh, Ukraine, who’s terminal H disqualifies it.

I’m just adding those that I think of, not doing any kind of search of maps or other references. So these are just the larger cites. A dedicated search would find lots more, especially those starting with E (ending in -ville), G (-burg), and N (-ton, -town).

Hi nice list however the Swedish city “Orebro” is incorrect. It starts with an Ö and ends with an O (Örebro) which in the Swedish alphabet are two completely different letters! Ask anyone here in Scandinavia. It does not belong on that list, it looks wholly wrong from a local standpoint and is a bit of an insult to the Swedish language to list it as starting and ending with o. The person who suggested it is clearly not Swedish (or Danish or Norwegian for that matter as they would also realize that mistake since they have the extra letter Ø, their equivalent of the Swedish Ö).

Thank you. I will remove it.
