A seagull traveler’s guide to Roma

Apparently, it’s not just the humans who enjoy a holiday in Roma, Italia. Given the number of seagulls observed throughout this magical city, it appears to be high on their list of sightseeing adventures too. Below are a few images of seagulls taking in the sights of the Eternal City. Peace and squawk!

The Tiber River
The lovely sculptures
Strolling the stone and cobblestone streets
Partaking the art in The Vatican
The many city vistas
The Forum
St. Peter’s Square

The Roman Colosseum
Checking out the human tourists
Window shopping for breakfast snack handouts

I was in Rome for New Year’s Eve and another couple of days. Seagulls definitely appear in many of my photos, despite my efforts to avoid them as much as possible. They are real pests at our nearby beaches, stealing food whenever they get a chance and relieving themselves on cars, people, and our porch windows when the wind blows in just the wrong direction!
