Following the popularity of the post about “peanutabouts” from earlier this week, our friend and guest post contributor Dan T. (who created the list of roundabouts in the USA and Canada) forwarded his list of known peanut roundabouts globally. Thank you Dan T. for the assistance contribution! The list identifies those peanutabouts that are open or under construction.
As can be seen from the list, peanutabouts can be found on three continents, in eight nations, and in 18 states/Puerto Rico. The metropolitan area with the most peanutabouts currently is Indianapolis, Indiana with seven.
FYI: In some places these designs may be referred to as dog bone roundabouts or dumbbell roundabouts instead of peanut roundabouts (peanutabouts).
